| Mr. Ecart [sic] Brown, son of Mr. V. O. BrownEsq., [sic] postmaster at St. Georges [sic] not long since enlisted in a section of the Canadian Army and went in training for the front. Mr. Brown has just received a letter from his son informing him of his promotion to Lcpl which we learn was due to his familiarity with the drill which he had previously learned while a member of the St. George�s Cadet Corps. | |||
