HONOUR WORTHILY BESTOWED.
______
We learn from a private letter, received yesterday from London, that Lt. Philip W. James, R.A.M.C., eldest son of the late Rev. Mark James, Rector of Pembroke and Devonshire, is mentioned in General Frenchs despatches from the front as worthy of honour. Lt. James is serving with the Seaforth Highlanders. At the time of writing, he was on leave in England with his wife and child. The many friends of Lt. James in Bermuda will learn with pleasure of his distinguished services.
