Desti Kebabı (Et / Tavuk / Sebze)
Our
restaurant was the first in Cappadocia to serve Pottery Kebab, our specialty
since 1992. Beef
(or chicken or vegetables) with tomatoes, onions, peppers and garlic is cooked
in a clay pot,
which is brought to your table and broken to serve. Served with rice pilaf and
salad.
Osmanlı Kebabı
Our Ottoman Kebab is a mixture of chicken, beef and
vegetables cooked and served on an iron plate with rice.
Göreme Köftesi
Another
Göreme Restaurant speciality, Göreme Köftesi combines meatballs and potatoes
in a tomato sauce, cooked and served in a clay dish.
Hünkar Beğendi
The
“Sultan’s Favorite”, Hünkar Beğendi is an Ottoman-style dish of chopped
eggplant that is
grilled and served with bechamel sauce and meat. Vegetarian version available.
Maccan
Saç Tava
This dish of beef, peppers, tomatoes, onions and garlic cooked and
served on a flat iron plate is an Anatolian tradition. “Maccan” is an ancient name for Göreme.
