I decided to make this link because I had too many "stuff" to share in the Minnesota site I made. Below are some personal testimonies of some recent "God Happenings" in my old former hometown where I grew-up (live in Morris now!). Also, I have a link to one awesome summer I had (twin cities trip), which I wasn't able to record others like this one. Please pray for the Minneapolis-St. Paul area!
Bridging the Church Body of Christ
The other night (Friday, April 8th of 2005), I attended a long awaited worship gathering called "Heart of the City". I've been attending their worship gatherings since 1999 when I found out their mission of uniting believers from all diverse backrounds (denominations, racial/ethnic, rich/poor, etc...) in the Twin Cities area. I've been getting inpatient and rundown a little for God to do this in the Morris/West Central Area of Minnesota. There has been progress through events like "Picnic in the Park" and "See You At the Party". Well, I was "energized", "fueled-up", and "motivated" to continue this through Friday night's gathering and this morning's (Sunday, April 10th of 2005) service at my home church (Woodland Hills Church) whenever I visit my parents in St. Paul. Efrem Smith from the Sanctuary Convenant Church shared his heart about "God's beloved for the Church" (also for married couples-Batman/Batwoman->Superman/Wonderwoman; workplace; neighborhoods/communities; etc...). I was inspired this morning to bring the vision to where God has have me to do his work in Morris-West Central Area of Minnesota. Currently, several churches (Sanctuary Convenant Church-Minneapolis, Church of the Open Door in Maple Grove, and Woodland Hills Church in St. Paul) are trying to bridge with each other to connect believers throughout the Twin Cities. I personally feel this is some of the fruit of what God has/is/will be doing through Heart of the City!...Amen!
I was also encouraged to meet (Friday evening on 4/8/05) some other members of the church body of Christ from Hastings' (a community southeast of St. Paul) Discovery Church. I met a family very involved in church "unity" gatherings, like Heart of the City last Saturday. I talked to the son, who leads worship there and was very passionate to see the vision of unity in surrounding cities/communities of Minneapolis-St. Paul.
Where are these schools?
At Morris, we get a lot of people coming/moving from the Twin Cities area. I grew-up in St. Paul and I'm not as familiar with Minneapolis as St. Paul. I decided to a "search" on where the high schools are located in Minneapolis->

Do you every have trouble finding a "good" parking spot whenever you drive to the Metrodome? After living in Morris, MN for awhile, I get a little tense/stress in finding a parking spot. I decided to give an easier way to go about this. Here are some sites that may help you...
HHH Metrodome
-HHH Metrodome Parking Lots
Tip: The further you park, the cheaper it is. I can think of $3-5 by Washington Ave., which is an easy access from St. Paul or west of Minneapolis!
