"BEELINE"
An Exhibition of a new installation by Claire Ironside and Angela Iarocci of MoiMoi.
This Exhibition celebrates the honey bee's industriousness through the creation of a bee inspired
environment and objects. The hive-like installation is comprised of beeswax candles which embody
the number of flower trips required to make the wax and wall murals inspired by bee vision,
the flowers
typically visited to make honey and the relationship between flower and hive

"Postmodern Porcelain"
The term “postmodern” refers to art made mostly in the 1980s and 90s that is not governed by a dominating ideology, but instead appropriates elements from different artistic traditions and recombines them in often playful and ironic ways. Although some postmodern art can be facile and pretentious, the best examples draw attention to aspects of or connections between artistic traditions that may not have been carefully scrutinized before.
This Exhibition features a selection of postmodern porcelains
that embody the best characteristics of the genre.
