The University of St. La Salle College of Medicine
would definitely have a reason to celebrate. In the recently concluded
physician licensure examination held at three venues (Manila, Cebu and Davao)
last Aug 4-5 and 11-12, 2007, 17 out of 23 pioneers of the said college passed
the exam and are about to take their oath on September 9, 2007 at the plenary
hall of the Philippine International Convention Center (PICC) together with the
other 1,720 new physicians coming from different medical schools in the country.
Among the new
lasallian doctors are Laarni Amber Abaja, Mariella Macrina Araneta, Radcibel
Caram, Gerard Paul Espeleta, April Marie Gentugaya, Enrique Grajales, Kenberly
Hao, Chad Bryan Hilado, Marc Japitana, Mary Ann Jocson, Richard Philip Kochoa,
Emmanuel Enrique Magalona, Reuben Montano, Bien Eli Nillos, Ma. Clarrisa Patrimonio, Joyce
Pedreso and Clena Mae Tejare.
Dr. Carmelo
Canto, dean of the USLS College of Medicine, announced earlier that the college
will hold a testimonial dinner in honor of the new lassallian doctors on Aug 29,
2007 at the USLS campus. The limelight will also be shared by their
parents who have supported them upto the very end. Also expected to attend
the said event are the college professors and consultants who have seen these
formerly known interns struggle and did an extra effort to become successful
doctors.
To class 2006,
congratulations! This is not yet the end, but the beginning of a new challenge
in our medical life. |
