One year ago, we bid farewell to each other as
we continued our
medical life as post graduate interns in different hospitals here in
Bacolod. Six from our batch went to Riverside Medical Center, then
another six went to Corazon Locsin Montelibano Memorial Regional
Hospital and 11 (myself included) went to Bacolod Our Lady of Mercy
Specialty Hospital. But then, we all know that one day, we will still
be once again on each other's company to continue the camaraderie that
we have started five years ago.
On May 2007, the long wait was over. The class of 2006 once again
met, this time for the preparation for our upcoming boards. Of course
everybody was excited at first. Some seemed to have gained weight
since the last time we saw them. Others, well, have a new story to
tell about their "lovelife".
Anyways, as of this time, we are already on our 6th week of review
classes and we have barely finished 50% reviewing the total of 12
subjects for the boards. Our reviewers were also our former teachers
and consultants whom we know are also trying their best to help pass
the boards. Actually, in return we are also doubling our time and
effort to catch up with the review class. We stay awake until 2AM
reviewing our past notes. We even purchased a lot of review materials
to guide us on the important stuff to review on. While some of us are
just contented studying on our homes, some are even staying away from
their bedrooms and look some place to study (Bob's Cafe and Mister
Donut) and drown themselves with coffee.
What will happen on the August 2007 medical board exam, that we still
don't know. But hardwork and prayers can definitely help us pass the
boards.
