| Givi Didava is recognised as one of the best defenders of his generation. Didava started his career at Dinamo Tbilisi and spent six years there before moving to Israeli side Maccabi Tel Avivi. However Didava's time in Israel was shortlived as he fell out with the coach and returned to Torpedo Kutaisi on loan. At Torpedo Didava was played further forward and scored nine goals last season. Didava then signed a one year extension to his Torpedo contract and his performaces granted him a recall to the Georgian National Team. In the winter break Didava signed a 3 year contract with Turkish side Kocealispor. |
