I'm breaking the pictures into groups so as to cut down on the thumbnail load time for dial up users, and to separate them into categories to demonstrate different pros/cons of the mod. The pictures were taken in complete darkness (except the ones showing the physical aspect of the modded hardware) and WITHOUT a flash. 1. first up are the modded hardware pictures demonstrating the physical condition/appearance of the shield after the LED has been mounted into it. 2. Second, the GBA game screen pics. 3. Next, examples of a GBC game and a comparison of different settings of the dimmer switch. 4. Finally, various shots to show just how much light this white LED will put out. 5. The Comparison shot between the original bulb and the LED. 6. Three 5600mcd LEDs wired together in a triangular pattern(no real purpose for doing this, just a test :) -very bright!. |
