(Page 11) black bear. By the river he catches fish and returns to dig in his cave. It seems every time he leaves he finds fresh fruit and honey to gobble down before others have their share. The bear's power is impressive, the power of his jaws and claws are ready to kill any creature he does not like. But the bear gets hungry and more food is needed to nurture nature's savage and oppressing appetite, but there is prey for the beast's quirky appetite of squirrels and rabbits and various other small animals that he finds to be tasty. In the woods, don't underestimate the sheer valor and might this warrior is capable of e xerting on those in Yosemite, killing as the zephyr gently blows.
