It's ickle me evwybody just to say how thrilled I am to discover the EFBenson website courtesy of the Radio Times. I no longer feel alone in being totally addicted to the M&L novels. I use the audio tape to get to sleep and must have played it hundreds o times. I find it diffy to sleep you see!! I have just ordered the video tapes having written to all the tv stations without success, they told me there were no tapes available! Naughty TV Stations!

Thank you so much, Garden Keeper. What a magnificent site. I thought I was reasonably familiar with late 19th century and early 20th century American illustrators, being a descendent of the fellow who taught N.C. Wyeth how to draw, but my ignorance is now for all to know: you have introduced me to the wonderful Mr. Plank, and I am completely besotted. The billowing dresses remind me of the illustrations in a children's book printed in the 1940/50s, and I am setting myself to wondering if they could have been done by the same Plank genius. I suggest a visit to #4: could those be the Misses Antrobuses about to frolic on the Riseholme green? For everything on your site, thank you Garden Keeper. I have spent the most enjoyable time this evening getting to know all of your friendly, fun faces at your happy gathering events. I certainly look forward to summer 2000 and being a part of a Bensonista gathering. It's almost ll p.m. here in Barcelona so it's time for...dinner! Withers
