| | This game is putrid |
I'm a WWF fan because of this game![]() This game truly captured WCW at the end of its glory days: a roster full of aging legends and future stars and a truly horrible product. With over 60 wrestlers, many hidden, tag team, royal rumble, tournament, hardcore matches, and different arenas to choose from, there is definitely alot in this game that could suck, and oh how it sucks.
This game came in a great box that had pictures of cool wrestlers on the cover in a hologram that would change with the lighting. When I saw the box I thought, "this is gonna be great." When I first watched this game and saw the cool intro which showed tons of real wrestling clips I thought, "this is gonna be great." It most definitely is not great. If you actually play the game long enough to unlock a hidden wrestler, you'll find that he does not have his own end moves, but instead borrows his entire move list from another character. This means that there are twelve different sets of moves in the game, and just about every character is a recycled form of the main dozen. Even the hidden wrestlers are a dissapointment. Who wants to see Roddy Piper doing the Outsider's Edge? The only TRULY good thing about this game is that it allows me to be my favorite tag team ever, the Hart Foundation. I don't actually play this game anymore, but for the four minutes that I did play, I would: select the Hart Foundation, select some famous opponents, then I pretend that I'm playing a fun game. |
