The Greatest Video Games - Revisited [Skitchin']
Get ready to skitch it... or something.

Tastes Like Chicken

Remember when Marty McFly grabs on the backs of cars while skateboarding to get to and from school in the blockbuster hit, Back to the Future? Well, EA sort of stole the idea, applied it to inlined skates instead of skateboards, and made a video game out of it.

Even though there is no game like this one, I would closely compare it to Road Rash except on skates instead of motorcycles. You basically race a bunch of other rowdy gentlemen across major US cities and can earn extra money by performing tricks.

Grabbing onto cars will help your player increase speed and he can fling himself off the car for an added speed burst. The game can be played with 1 or 2 players. There are several weapons available and they will come in handy when you grapple with other racers. Also included is a nauseating soundtrack including songs like Silken Liver Slipper, Smells like Tuna, Belly Button Lint, and Crunchy Bumpkin.

Graphics: 4
This game appears to have been rushed badly in the graphics department. The colors seem rather faded out and there should have been a much more diverse selection of automobiles. For the most part it gets by, and thats about it..
Playability: 4
Once again, this game should have been much more playable than it is. The controls have slow reaction at times, which leads to missing the grab onto cars and cursing as your player goes flying off the screen. The tricks off jumps are impossible to land with skill so the best way to land decent tricks is to rack on the buttons as fast as you can. That makes this playable.for 3 year olds. EA just snuck by on this category, just enough to get by.
Fun Factor: 4
By just the concept of this game, youd think it would be most enjoyable game on the face of the planet. If it wasnt for EAs rushed product and poor execution, this game very well would have been. It isnt a terrible game by any means, but the lack of polishing forces this game into eternal mediocrity. It is still fun to pull out once a month or so and get some good ole 2 player action.and hey, skitchen cars can be gay old funand by gay I mean happy, not penetration of the bum.
