The Klob is about as harmless as a ballpoint pen
I'm not a fan of first person shooters at all. From Doom to Half-Life, from Wolfenstein to Perfect Dark, I think they all suck. Except this one.

The missions in James Bond are very intricate, and the different types of surroundings you encounter throughout the game are amazing. A frigate, a train, a jail cell, a bathroom, a jungle, some soviet park thingy that is all dark and its hard to see... Bond goes everywhere in this one.
There is a girl in this game too. I think her name is Natasha, but the only important thing about her is if you manage to resist the temptation to let her have it between the eyes with a high-powered rifle and she lives to see the end then she'll make out with you. Yay.

Graphics: 9 The graphics in this game are really good. Don't get me wrong. But there are a few things that bother me. One being that if you stand too close to a door your gun will show through on the other side. How lame is that? That can really be painful in multi-player games. |
Playability: 9
This game is really really smooth. Except for the whole gun-sticking-through-door thing I can't think of anything to complain about. Cycling through guns sometimes sucks, and othertimes you get ticked when you nail your opponent with 75 body shots and then they hit you once in the head and you are done... but those are just things you have to deal with. The lamest thing is when your opponent in a multiplayer game gaurds the body armor. That sucks big time. Without the body armor you are basically up Fecal Creek without a paddle. |
Fun Factor: 9 Goldeneye is definitely a classic. It's very entertaining single player, and its one of the only games ever to have four player mode, which is a HUGE bonus. This is arguably the best 4-player game ever. The game is detailed and realistic (you can shoot scientists, you can shoot that girl you are trying to save, if you fire alot of rounds gaurds are going to catch on and come to hunt you down, etc.) Unfortunately the N64 is at my sister's house and I haven't played this game in years. I'm gonna have to go nab it back. |
