The Greatest Video Games - Revisited [Dr. Mario]
This game has great music

Its like Tetris... only with Mario!

This sweet puzzle game kept me and my friend Gary glued to the Nintendo for months in 2P mode back in 5th grade, and it made a revival among the guys on my floor freshman year in college. This puzzle game loses steam FAST when playing it alone, but it remains a fantastic two player game.

This game is virtually the same as tetris except that rather then accumulating lines or points, there are a few obstacles, "viruses," that must be cleared. The viruses come in three beautiful colors: red, yellow, and blue. They kind of look like the viruses that appeared on the Simpsons when the doctor was explaining to Monty Burns that he was extremely sick.
Dr: Mr. Burns, you have what we call the 'Three Stooges' syndrome. You have so many viruses that they all can't take effect. (Tries to shove models of viruses through a small door. Viruses can't get through).
Burns: So what you are saying is that I am invincible?
Dr: No, in fact, even the slightest breeze--
Burns:Invincible!

Possibly the best thing about this game is the music. 'Freeze' and 'Chill' are the greatest songs possibly out of any video game I've ever heard. This game is worth it just to jam to.

Dr. Mario
Graphics: 2
There are no graphics in this game, except Mario flipping pills into a jar. I wonder what those pills are made of? Mario seems to really like pills... and mushrooms... whats up with that?
Playability: 10
It is a puzzle game. You flip the pills, you move the pills... not much here to screw up.
Fun Factor: 7
This game is only fun two player. The spectacular battles that you and a friend can have in this game is what gives it entertainment and replayability. Unless you are some kind of Tetris nerd that sits there and plays these types of game for hours, there isn't much to keep 1P hooked here.
