A Pick and Flick Adventure
I can't believe they made this game. Unfortunately for me this came out about 3 years too late, if this came out during elementary school it would have been the coolest thing ever. The story line behind this game is just too cool. Basically its the same 'save the world' theme, but you do it by flicking boogers, burping, and farting. This game is every 7 year old's dream. Just watch their big eyes light up with joy when Boogerman bends over, clenches up, and then releases a toxic stench of potent methane, which then causes the enemy to explode. Howard Stern would be proud. This game follows the Mike Tyson Punch Out formula, where there is a pattern to each bosses special move and the key to beating each boss lies in finding out how to dodge or block the attack.
| | General Chaos | Graphics: 8 The graphics in this game aren't exactly fantastic, but when you see the strain on Boogerman's face as he pushes out a gigantic fart you realize just how dedicated the good people at Interplay were at giving you detailed graphics of disgusting events. |
Playability: 8
This game is pretty easy to control. It's basically just another side-scroller, although what makes it stand out from the usual Mario Bros. format is that Boogerman falls to earth at the proper acceleration of 9.8 m/s. In fact, the whole game seems to be moving in fast motion, and it makes it a little more challenging and captivating. |
Fun Factor: 4 Despite it's humerous antics and easy controls, Boogerman isn't as fun as most of the other 'great games.' Once you beat it there isnt much motivation to go play it again. The game also isn't very long, I think I beat it in 2 nights. |
