| REV.6:1 -- And I saw when the Lamb opened one of the seals, and I heard, as it were the noise of thunder, one of the four beasts saying, Come and see. NOISE OF THUNDER = ACTS 2:1 -- And when the day of Pentecost was fully come, they were all with one accord in one place. 2 And suddenly there came a sound from Heaven as of a rushing mighty wind, and it filled all the house where they were sitting. 3 And there appeared unto them cloven tongues like as of fire, and it sat upon each of them. 4 And they were filled with the Holy Ghost, and began to speak with other tongues, as the Spirit gave them utterance. THIS WAS THE OPENING OF THE WHITE HORSE. REV.6:2 -- And I saw, and behold a white horse: and he that sat on him had a bow; and a crown was given unto him: and he went forth conquering, and to conquer. WHITE = clean, pure, righteousness, holy, sinless BOW = part of a weapon of war with no arrow -- some say its no fighting, but peace. -- I like the idea of a rainbow -- rainbow is sign of a promise GEN.9:13. CONQUER = the church went forth conquering people with the new promises of a better life through Jesus Christ. CROWN = sign of rulership and authority REV.4:10. The crown of live REV.2:10. This was the perfect condition of the church with the true gospel. They had the promises working in the church. They preached peace and harmony in the Earth wherever they went. They preached the overcoming life to live above sin. EARLY CHURCH TAUGHT PEACE ACTS 10:36 -- The word which God sent unto the children of Israel, preaching peace by Jesus Christ: (he is Lord of all). 2 COR.13:11 -- Finally, brethern, farewell. Be perfect, be of good comfort, be of one mind, live in peace. EPH.4:3 -- Endeavoring to keep the unity of the Spirit in the bond of peace. PHIL.4:7 -- And the peace of God, which passeth all understanding, shall keep your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus. JAMES 3:17-18 -- But the wisdom that is from above is first pure, then peaceable, gentle, and easy to be intreated, full of mercy and good fruits, without partiality, and without hypocrisy. And the fruit of righteousness is sown in peace of them that make peace. 2 PETER 1:2 -- Grace and peace be multiplied unto you through the knowledge of God, and of Jesus our Lord. |
