Caloosahatchee Regional Park is an old mining pit
the trails here are some what technical with ups, downs and drop-offs, mostly under a canopy of trees. Click here for map of trails The trail is about 7 miles long and is a really nice place to ride. The Florida mud cutters have done a lot of good work here. The trails are hard packed with no sand that I can remember, too bad there is not more mileage.
