Boyette is located east of Apollo beach.
It is like no place I have been in Florida. Large valleys,
lakes and more than 20 miles of trail mostly single track.
(Directions of trail below map)
These trails were built by the
wonderful people at the swamp
club.
From parking lot follow the double track road to
just before the corner (not even a 1/4 mile).
There will be a single track trail on your left there.
Take this less than 2 mile single track to same double track.
Turn left and follow the double track past a fishing sign, the
first lake shall be on your left. You go down a slight hill
and another single track trail is on your right just as
trail starts to rise again, after about 1/4 mile or so
this leads to a 7 or 8 mile single track loop under
a great canopy. When loop is completed follow the
single track trail back to the last double track, then turn right,
(or left to go back the way you came), go about a 1/2
mile about and take the left fork in the db track it is
at 90° from double track. Then you will see a tree line up and to
the right and a single track trail leads to the ridge of a pond.
After this the path it is harder to remember how the trail actually
goes but there is a bunch of ridge trails around a few of
the lakes and trails on the open fields. It is hard to get lost here
the park is not that big like croom, bring a compass and if your
totally lost just head west and you have to hit Balm Boyette
I hope to have better instructions in the future.
