Ross and Rachel. One of the most famous TV romances. They have certainly had their many moments. This on-again-off-again couple have been through "breaks," break-ups, and almost a high school prom. Ross fell in love with Rachel in the ninth grade but she found out only when he was away in China about nine years later when Chandler by-accidentally blurted it at her birthday party. When Ross returned from his trip, with a new girlfriend, Rachel was waiting for him after she noticed that she had feelings for him also. Disappointed, because Ross wasn't single, she kept her feelings to herself until she left a drunken message on his answering machine. She stated that she was "over" him in the message and when Ross heard it, she confessed. To decide who he should date, Rachel or his girlfriend Julie, Chandler convinced Ross to make a pro and con list for each girl. Eventually Ross chose Rachel but when Rachel found 'the list,' their relationship quickly deteriorated, leaving Rachel with a broken-heart. Then, later on, Rachel discovered that during her prom night when she thought her date was not going to show up, Ross dressed up and was going to surprise her with flowers. Of course, Rachel's date showed up and when Rachel discovered and watched the prom video she walked over to Ross and kissed him and they stayed together for a while after that. After that Rachel got a job from a friend, Mark. While Ross and Rachel were dating Ross became obsessively jealous of Mark. So, after fighting one night Rachel declared they should (and I quote this) "go on a break." Ross took this as a 'break-up' and later that night --depressed about losing Rachel--- he slept with someone else. The next morning Rachel came to his apartment (while the woman he slept with was still there) and apologized. Of course later she found out about Ross' one night stand and they split again. Much later Rachel introduced Ross to a woman named Emily. Ross fell in love with her and they decided to get married, but, on their wedding day Ross said Rachel's name at the alter instead of Emily's. Not being able to trust Ross again, Emily split from Ross. Much later after that, Ross and Rachel got really drunk and married each other in Los Vegas. Then, unable to get an annulment, they divorced.. A few months after that they had a one night fling and Rachel ended up pregnant. Thus leading us to the present situation. Rachel delivered her and Ross's baby and named it Emma Geller-Green. Hopefully, as a Ross/Rachel fan myself, they will get back together in the final season but it may be impossible now that we have found out Joey's fallen in love with Rachel.
