(Windows XProfessional Tweak Guide)
Ok, first things first. Lets get rid huge "X/
" buttons. You can
use the regular/old Windows "X/Close" buttons instead of the big bulky ones or
there is a way to have the new ones, but smaller(below).
Button/Text/Font Size
(Tip: Make sure under Folder Options the "Show Common Tasks in Folders" option is selected)
1. Open the Control Panel
2. Open/Goto the "Accessibility Options"(click on it) (CLICK 4 PICTURE)
3. Under "Pick a task..." click "Configure Windows to work for your vision,hearing, and mobility needs".
4. On the "Accessibility Wizard" click next.
5. Highlight/box/circle(using the up and down arrow keys ;-)) box the smallest setting("Use usual text size for Windows"). Then click next. (CLICK 4 PICTURE)
6. On the next screen/slide just leave it as is(only the first box should be checked). Then click Next
7. Make sure no boxes are checked and click next
8. Click Next
9. Click Finish (CLICK 4 PICTURE)
(Note: Don't ask me why, but you can only do this when under Folder Options the "Show Common Tasks in Folders" option is on. If its set to "Use Windows Classic Folders" and you go to "Accessibility Options" this option is not there.)
