They've got a Cho Chang! Katie Leung beat more than 4,000 hopeful girls who wanted to be Cho Chang. A Potter insider says she's "totally perfect" for the part. She was even good enough to beat Michelle Ang. The Mirror said that she's "pretty and bright" and she had a "glittering career ahead of her".
Katie goes to a private college in Scotland, and lives with her dad, 2 younger brothers, and a younger sister. Her dad was born in Hong Kong (OMG! Whoopie!) but he moved to Edinburgh years ago. The family now live in Motherwell, near Glasgow.
P.S. I can't find a pic of her yet. Looks like WB wants to keep her face a secret for now. But I'll put it out ASAP. |

| 3,000 Girls at the Cho Chang auditions!!~~ I'm so excited you know. I don't know why...I'm not auditioning, but this is so cool! I wonder what Cho's gonna look like. She BETTER be pretty. Or I'm not gonna watch it. It'd ruin the whole thing. Sigh, if only Kristen Kruek would be Cho. She's perfect for the part. Oh well. Anyway, back to the auditioning stuff. So..3,000 gals, yeah. The like was looooooooong. Some girls had to line up for 3 hours. And that's it I suppose. Just look at the pics and you'll get it. |

Hey!!!~~~ Good news to ya'll! They're holding auditions! Yes!! Public auitions! so here's the info.:
Date: 7th February, 2004
Time: 10:00 pm ~ 3:00 pm
Place: Pineapple Studios, 7 Langley Street, London WC2
Yay! But wait, the rules are very, very strict. You must be of South East Asian appearance, Look around 16 years old, and must live in UK. Girls who don't match up won't be able to apply.

| Hey guys! I'm back...again. Remember the post I made a few months ago, about Kristen Kreuk? Well someone emailed me and said that Kristen has decided she doesn't want to be Cho. She says she doesn't want to come to England (cuz it's too cold.) And just a reminder, Jennifer Nguyen is not going to be Cho. She is NOT auditioning for the part with Kwan BoA. Kwan BoA does not want to be Cho. (And no, it's not because she doesn't know English, she sings loads of English songs.) It's kinda the same with the Twins thing. Anyways, just remember, Jennifer Nguyen was just joking, or I hope she was. And she is not auditioning for the part. So if you happen to come across her................I'll say no more. I don't want to end up on the court. But I think you guys are smart enough to know what to do. |
