Project Engine continued On this Page i will explain where i want to get my hp's from. i will describe every part when i'm buying or in the process of buying them, also i tell you why i choose the parts chosen
At this moment i'm in the proces of buying a simular header, it is a MSA 6 into 2 header. I like the idea of more flow, and twice pipes !
This is 'my' intake, still under construction 4000 miles from my house by Pallnet, a custom high pressure Fuel rail will feed my 450cc injectors. and this intake will breathe through a HUGE 85mm TB

My K&N set up it has a 4' intake, and is pretty huge in my opinion. I do not believe the BS that this would add HP, it sure gives a better throttle response, and a nice sound. Most impartantly better flow ! Also the 90 degree bent in the piping is not the best way to go, since it creates a turbulance, i migh replace this piping with more flow friendly set up
For all the rookies Why would you get a bigger TB? why a K&N, why headers? well simply explained it is quite easy. The more air you're engine can suck up, the more fuel you can ad to that air.... But all that new found explosive mixture needs a way out ....so that is where the header comes in. This offcourse is a very delicate balance between air feul and airflow, you can go over the edge, it is not that when you do not ad a exhaust at all you would run better... This is the simple way to explain...for the hard way..well start searching the internet |
