Here' s another transition zone between the mainly green lush northern and equatorial areas of Mars and the arid south. Most population centers are of course in Gerberia around the southern edge of Lake Elysium, although there are some greened crater territories further south. Smrtonice (pronunciation: Smart-o-neechah) is the place where in 53 A.V. (2076 A.D.) the One Mars movement was founded. Further to the southwest are a lot of villages founded by medievalists, a movement that bans all technology, well, almost all technology. Visitors are welcome to live and work in their communities.
