Max Evans with Liz Parker, is at the core of Roswell. Max, in a spontaneous
moment of concern for Liz, risked his life to save hers. His unique
powers helped to heal the wound left by a deadly bullet. In doing this Max
had to expose his secret, that he and his sister Isabel, and their friend
Michael, are "not of this earth." Kept in incubation pods from the 1947 crash
of an alien spaceship in Roswell, New Mexico. Emerging as six year olds from
incubation pods left by their alien parents. Max and Isabel had the good luck
of being adopted by two loving parents, having no idea of where they are
from. While their parents suspect something only their mother tried to do
something to find out. Max, along with Isabel feels a real sense of loyalty
to their parents, and a sense of "home," on earth. Max fears that healing Liz
brought suspicion on him and the threat of exposure.
But along with this fear, Max possesses an overwhelming love for Liz. This
love causes him to be attracted to her. Yet to reject her, because he fears
what may happen of a romance between them. Max is the most cautious of the
three aliens. He also has an innate trust of Liz because he has loved from
afar from before he met her.
