D'Long has since set up a subsidiary called Fairchild Dornier AeroIndustries that was working on the 728 program. Fairchild Dornier AeroIndustires was located at Oberpfaffenhofen, Germany. This company went bankrupt, too. This aircraft program seems to be dead.
