FIVE LYRA
MUSIC AND DANCE OLYMPICS

September 2001, Budapest.

The Five Lyra World Festival promises to be hitherto the largest music and dance programme of the world.

The opening of the Five Lyra will be in 2000. The first Music and Dance Olympics will be held In Hungary in 2001, then, in every second year in different countries.

It is a huge opportunity for artist, for organizations, for the audience as well as for companies and for maeceans.

The Five Lyra can bring huge incomes for the host country. In HUF, the incomes from the ticket-selling can be 1-2.000.000.000., from the tourism 20-30.000.000.000. It can be even more for the country who win the right to organise the next one.

AN ALL EMBRACING GLOBAL FESTIVAL
Countless competition festivals are held in every part of the world.. They celebrate an historic event or an artist, or they concentrate on an instrument or composition, The Five Lyra is the first to embrace all the performing arts in a truly global intercourse.

OPPORTUNITIES FOR THE DISADVANTAGED
Boarding schools specialising in music exist all over the world, but the Five Lyra is the first to set the aim of raising funds to establish a artistic boarding school for disadvantaged children.

CHARTING A COURSE FOR THE MILLENNIUM
As we leave our century there is a growing sense of a need, reinforced by the tragedy of Kosovar, to find a kinder and more moral way of running our world. Because music and dance is humanity's one common and most expressive language, the Five Lyra can speak for love, mutual respect and peace among peoples and nations.

The festival is an open door. We invite all who are interested to participate in drawing up the programmes, to support the realisation, to perform. We hereby request you to share your opinion and ideas arising connectied with the programme, since organising this World Festival in the best possible way is our mutual aim. We are counting on your experience and support, both in moral, in spiritual and in financial respect.
