FIRST SERGEANT:

GIVES THE ORDER, "FALL-IN."

Members fall-in at attention facing the flag pole

GIVES THE COMMAND, "RIGHT FACE." "IF YOU ARE TALLER THAN THE PERSON IN FRONT OF YOU, TAP THEM ON THE SHOULDER AND MOVE UP."

Give the flight a minute to perform this movement

GIVES THE COMMAND, "RIGHT FACE." "IF YOU ARE TALLER THAN THE PERSON IN FRONT OF YOU, TAP THEM ON THE SHOULDER AND MOVE UP."

Give the flight a minute to perform this movement

GIVES THE COMMAND, "ABOUT FACE."

The flight is facing the flag pole, column leaders to the east, if you did this right the tallest person should be in the S/E corner of the flight and the shortest person should be in the N/W corner.

GIVES THE COMMAND, "DRESS RIGHT, DRESS."

This will get the flight all lined up nice and straight

GIVES THE COMMAND, "READY, FRONT."

GIVES THE COMMAND, "COVER."

After forming the flight, the First Sgt will present the flight to the Flight/CC

"SIR/MA'AM, FLIGHT READY FOR RETREAT."

The First Sgt takes a position to the left of the last row

FLIGHT/CC:

The Flight/CC centers himself/herself in front of the flight

Does an about face so he/she is facing the flight and gives the command, "AT EASE."

Approximately 3 minutes prior to retreat he/she does an about face and gives the command, FLIGHT ATTENTION", "PARADE REST."

Does an about face to the front, and comes to parade-rest. The flight remains at parade rest until completion of the retreat song

Upon completion of retreat song, he/she comes to attention, does an about face and gives the command, "FLIGHT, ATTENTION."

Upon hearing the first note of the National Anthem, he/she gives the command, "PRESENT ARMS."

Does an about-face to the front and present-arms

Upon hearing the last note of the National Anthem the he/she drops his/her salute, does an about-face, and gives the command, "ORDER, ARMS."

Then does an about-face to face the front

The flight remains in formation at attention until the flag detail has folded the flag

NCOIC FLAG DETAIL:

Once the flag is folded the flag detail will move forward to the Flight/CC's position and the NCOIC will salute and report, "SIR/MA'AM, THE FLAG IS SECURE."

FLIGHT/CC:

Returns the flag detail NCOIC's salute and gives the command, "RETIRE THE FLAG."

The flag detail will then depart the area

After the exit of the flag detail, the he/she does an about face and gives the command, "FLIGHT, DISMISSED."
