Original members have forgotten about it, new members probably have no idea what it is.  The new, updated version of Flash Flash Revolution, Remix, is still under construction, but we can at least try to keep you up to date on its progress.

Q: How far through are you on Remix?
A: As far as I know, just past starting.  Progress was continuous until we hit a snag, so the process basically had to begin again from scratch.  Synthlight has people working on it, so we may see it before FFR's second anniversary.

Q: Will it get rid of the missing system and the flat arrows and support freeze arrows and bpm changes?
A: The introduction of BOOs and the expanded timing window in the new version somewhat "corrected" this, but that is entirely up to Synthlight.  In early builds I played of Remix (steps only, there were songs or menus or anything) there were freeze arrows and different modifiers added, but the flat mode remained.  It could possibly change, but it is uncertain at this point.  While we have not been successful with bpm changes or bpm freezes yet, it is being worked on.

Q: Will there be any sort of multiplayer mode?
A: It is possible, but it might not be readily available upon Remix's release.  It is another secondary feature being worked on.

Q: Will Remix involve the score databases being cleared out?
A: Most likely, but we won't know for sure until we get it released.

Q: Will there be newer, harder songs?
A: Most definately.

Q: Are you going to change the scoring system (more like a technical attack system)?
A: Don't know yet.  I've mentioned it to Synthlight, especially if tournaments were ever to be held, but it is another thing that won't come into light until we near its release.

Q: Will there be multiple difficulties for each song?  Will the old songs be re-synched?
A: That's a yes and possibly for part one.  The current plans enable multiple stepcharts for each song, but the members/staff will have write files for the varying difficulties. As long as we get varying contribution, we'll have the multiple difficulties.  I'd imagine the old songs will be re-synched for the new version.

Q: Will it be just as flashy (interface)?
A: Yeah.  If we go along with the last screen I've seen of the interface it is going to rock hardcore.

Q: Will there be a bpm counter?
A: I beleive that was on the list of song information features.

Q: Will there be modifiers?
A: The small version I played only had appearance modifiers. Speed mods might be possible, but it's still unknown at this point.

That's all I have for now.  Keep asking and perhaps we'll get some more clarification from Synthlight on some of these questions or ones I couldn't answer.
