John Kirchner - Your Host

I am a college professor who has had a long time interest in both tropical agriculture and transportation. I started collecting banana labels in 1970 following a period of study in Guatemala and Costa Rica, but I did not meet any fellow collectors until 1995 when the Internet opened the door. Since that time I have made great contacts with people from around the world and have been lucky enough to meet many of them in person.

A special thanks to all my trading friends!

By the end of 1970 I had 24 different banana labels, the start of a collection that today totals over 7,000 different stickers. At this point trying to scan the entire collection seems too intimidating, so for the time being you will have to make do with "My Collection in 1970" or "Some Favorites" (click on links above). This small selection will be changed from time to time.

I have numerous banana labels available for trade, many of them mint.
What do you need? And, what can you offer? There are a few duplicate labels on the pages that are rare, and I may be very stingy with, but for the most part I try to be generous with my trader friends.
