Description: The Alaska Marine Highway System serves Alaska ports but operate in BC waters as well. A weekly (bi-weekly in summer) ferry connects Bellingham (Washington) with Alaska ports through Georgia Strait and the Inside Passage. Their only terminal in BC is in Prince Rupert.

Description: Lady Rose Marine Services operates two vessels, the M.V. Lady Rose and the M.V. Frances Barkley, out of Port Alberni. The ships usually do daily trips, either to Bamfield (south shore of Barkley Sound) or Ucluelet (north side of Barkely Sound). They also connect with the Broken Group Islands and the village of Kildonan.

Description: Translink is responsible for 2 ferry routes within Greater Vancouver. Translink owns the two Seabuses which are passenger ferries which cross Vancouver Harbour between downtown and North Vancouver (Lonsdale Quay). This route is operated by Coast Mountain Bus Co., a subsidiary of Translink. Another subsidiary of Translink, Fraser River Marine Transportation Ltd., owns and operates the two Albion ferries (car and passenger), which cross the Fraser River between Albion (Maple Ridge) and Fort Langley.
