Richard Moore fan club. Creator of Boneyard, Deja Vu and Far West.
Hey, there. Welcome to Richard Moore's place. If you're already a fan of Rick's stuff looking to see what else he might have done, then welcome! You should find a bunch of gems scattered around. If you have no idea who Richard Moore is, then you're in for a treat. Richard Moore is a comic book artist on the rise with a unique style and talent to spare. (He doesn't think so, but all these artists are insane anyway. Just ignore him and trust us. He's great.) Rick's stories are huge action movies, loaded with tiny details, clever dialogue, and multi-dimensional characters. Find out a bit more about Rick on his Bibliography page below.
Available now!
Boneyard #13. Glumph goes to war with the dynamic Doomsday Frog. This oughta be good. Then Nessie takes credit for Paris' recent financial salvation which leaves Abbey just a little bit annoyed. Perhaps Nessie has some sort of ulterior motives. Read it and find out for yer own self.
Boneyard Volume 2. And the Trade Paperback of Issues 5-8 is out now as well. Includes all the 5-8 goodness in a larger format.
ZOMBIEEEEES!!!!! It's Abbey and Nessie Vs. the living dead. Prolly some jokes, too.
NEWS!
Despite the best efforts of Algebra 96, American Idol, David Ives' All in the Timing, rebuilt transmissions and the ever-present occupationist regime in Washington, this update was pretty much on time!
Rick's only convention appearance will once again this year be the San Diego Comic-con, July 22-25 2004. We just can't get him to commit to wearing pants long enough to get him to any other shows. Sorry Mid-westerners.
As to Rick's daily work: Rick is finishing work on Issue 14 as well as a handful of adult (that's porn, kids) projects. Keep an eye on NBM's quarterly high-gloss smut book, Sizzle for all the breasty goodness. Some of you may know that Rick did a wonderful homoerotic story for the one-shot Genus: Male a while back. There's been much hope from fans of the story that he'd do more of the like, but I think he's pretty well settled on the old stand-by hetero porn for the time being. The site still goes down periodically. Yahoo/Geocities has tight reins on the number of hits we can receive before they want to get paid, and we ain't making any money yet, so that's the way it goes. Someday we'll have our own domain. Anybody wanna host it for us?
MOVIE??
Some of you may know that Boneyard was optioned for a motion picture release. Looks as though a new director is on-board. Not much other movement, and it might still never even get cast let alone made, but keep the faith and maybe someday.
Rick is still looking for qualified and professional inkers to assist him on some projects. We have gotten some response on this issue, however not much has ever come together because the people interested in doing the job have few samples which can be mailed directly to Rick. Unfortunately a scan doesn't do the job. If you or someone you know is a talented inker, please e-mail us at [email protected] for details. Please be sure you have some hard copy samples of your work available for mailing. This is a paying job that promises exposure and real published experience. Currently Rick pencils and inks all his own work. He would like to get a good inker to help him move some more projects up in his schedule.
