1. I put my hand on the ladder to climb to the sky.
I couldn't see where I was heading or admit my fear of heights.
And I fell.  I fell down.

2. So I prayed for inspiration but was distracted by the pain.
Running fast and furious in a circle of blame.
So much the same, when I longed for change.

3. Why do we face our disappointments, yet turn our backs on hope?
Feed our insecurities then starve our souls to cope...
We try...but still feel denied.

Why does life feel so unfair?

Sometimes the things you want the most aren't yours to have.
So you lose faith.  Deny your God.
Then you're surprised by some small miracle that opens up your heart.

* Sometimes a loss turns  victory.
Sometimes the challenges that blind you are the balms to help you see.
Trials that destroy just stepping stones
