Jack Mar, Chief Executive Officer & President
Jack founded TELOS Technology Inc. in 1993 after more than 27 years in the telecommunications industry. Jack's experience spans wireless telephony, software development, manufacturing, business development, and marketing and sales. In 1985, Jack founded GT Optical Cable, the first successful fiber optic company in the Peoples' Republic of China. Prior to GT Optical Cable, Jack founded TELOS International Inc., a highly regarded
telecommunications consulting firm. Jack has also held senior management positions with leading telecommunications companies such as GTE and Canadian Telephones & Supplies.
William Yu, Chief Financial Officer
William brings 15 years of investment banking, finance and portfolio management experience to TELOS Technology. Prior to joining TELOS, William was the Managing Partner of Cansbridge Capital Corp., a venture investment firm. William was a co-founder of Intrinsyc Software, a networking and communications solutions provider. As CFO and then COO, William was involved in all aspects of the company's management including mergers and
acquisitions, finance, human resources and public relations. He was a Director of the company from 1996 to 2002. Prior to Intrinsyc, William was an investment banker with Marleau, LeMire Securities and a portfolio manager with Discovery Enterprise Inc. William is a Director of Abebooks and the Chair of Monte Jade Science & Technology Association (Western Canada).
Richard Beckley; Vice President, Global Sales & Marketing
Richard has held several senior management positions extensively covering the globe throughout his 28-year career. His telecommunications experience includes the positions of Vice President, International Sales, for AirNet Communications; Senior Vice President, Worldwide Sales, for Telular Corporation; and similar positions at Phoenix Wireless and LCC International. Prior to entering the telecommunications sector, Richard held
senior management roles in materials testing with ELE International and Lloyd Instruments.
Michael Harris; Vice President, Operations
With more than 25 years of experience in telecommunications, Mike is responsible for quality assurance, materials management, production, project management, and network administration for the company. Prior to joining TELOS, Mike founded Freedom Communications Network and Harris & Associates, two telecommunications firms. Mike was also with Novatel Communications Ltd. and Microtel Ltd., where he held various senior positions in
project management, technical support, business development, and marketing and sales.
Colin Quon; Senior Director, Product Development
Colin has over 10 years of experience in product portfolio management, R&D management, and software design in the telecommunications industry. Prior to TELOS Technology, Colin held senior management positions at Nortel Networks, where he most recently led a cross-functional team developing packet telephony service enablement applications. His experience at Nortel Networks includes network management systems for transport optical
networks, enterprise networks, wireless networks, and switching networks. Previously, Colin was with Glenayre Technologies.
Sharon Batchelor, Director of Human Resources
Sharon has over 23 years of human resources and professional consulting management experience. During the past eight years, she has held senior human resources positions for medium and large firms in the high technology sector. Most recently, Sharon was the Director of Human Resources for Norsat International Inc. Prior to Norsat, Sharon was with ISM-BC (now Telus Enterprise Solutions) and MPR Teltech Ltd. Sharon is a member of
the BC Human Resource Management Association and the Canadian Certified Management Consultants Association.
