有我的尺寸嗎？
| 對話 Shopper： Excuse me, could you show me to the skirts section please? 顧客：請問可不可以告訴我女裙在哪裡？ Clerk： Certainly, madam, please come this way. 店員：當然可以，小姐。請走這邊。 Shopper： Ah! these are just what I've been looking for. Have you got them in my size? I'm a size 8. 顧客：耶！這正是我想買的那種裙子。有我的尺寸嗎？我穿八號。 Clerk： Just a moment…… I 'm afraid not madam. We appear to be temporarily out of stock. 店員：請等一下…恐怕沒有這尺寸，小姐。我們暫時缺貨。 Shopper： Oh, how disappointing! When will you next have some in? 顧客：啊，真掃興！下次進貨是甚麼時候？ Clerk： We should be getting a delivery at the beginning of next week. 店員：下星期初，新貨應該就會送到了。 |

要某尺寸，暫時缺貨
購買衣物，問店員有沒有某尺寸， 英文可以說：Do you have this in my size?（有我的尺寸嗎？） 假如覺得某尺寸太大或太小，則可說：Do you have this in a smaller/bigger (larger) size?（有小一點/大一點的嗎？）或I need a smaller/bigger size（我要小一點/大一點的）。 「我要八號」是I am a size 8或I take a size 8。 假如公司缺貨，你是店員，應告訴顧客： We appear to be temporarily out of stock。 Stock是「存貨」，作可數(countable noun)或不可數名詞(uncountable noun)都可以， 例如：(1) The supermarket had a large stock of canned fish/large stocks of household goods（超級市場有大批罐頭魚/家庭用品存貨）。 (2) Much of the stock is in the storeroom（存貨大部分放在儲藏室）。「缺貨」是out of stock，「有貨」則是in stock，例如："Do you have my size in stock?" "I'm afraid we're out of stock of your size right now."（「有我這個尺寸的存貨嗎？」「我們現在恐怕沒有你這個尺寸的存貨。」） 要說一些貨品已經售罄，你還可用sell out一詞， 例如：(1) We are /have sold out of Koo's Nonfat Milk Powder（我們的古氏脫脂奶粉賣光了）。(2) Koo's Nonfat Milk Powder is/has sold out（古氏脫脂奶粉賣光了）。 假如你公司根本沒有進某種貨品，不妨坦白告訴顧客： I'm afraid we don't stock Jin's Milk Powder/I'm sorry we don't carry Jin's Milk Powder（對不起，今氏奶粉我們沒有進貨）。Stock作動詞，是「備貨」，carry則可解作「有（某些貨品）出售」。 |
