Description:  This hands-on Web Design course provides the student with the information and lab experience necessary to perform quality web site design. Upon completion students will be able to plan and develop well-designed web sites that combine effective navigation with the balanced use of graphics, color, and text. The course develops the skills necessary to build web sites that allow users to access information and complete tasks easily. As students progress through the course they follow best practice design techniques and apply these in the hands-on lab exercises. Upon completion of the course, students will be able to design and implement functional web pages, plan a web site's organization, and publish a web site to make it accessible on the World Wide Web.

Prerequisites: This course is intended for individuals who need to know HTML well and are tasked with designing and producing usable, well-designed websites. General computer literacy is required.
