Morocco

Believe it or not. There has been a African country in the Eurovision Song Contest. But since Morocco has been in only one final, the 1980 final, there is very little to say about them.
"Bitakat Hob" was the name of Moroccos song, and it was Samira Basaid who sung it. They got 7 points and came in as number 18 out of 19.
Since Morocco still is member of the EBU they can enter the contest if they want, and if they're asked by the EBU.
