Let's take it up a notch! BAM!! Well OK then...

I was talking with my friends last night about web pages, and realized that I probably needed to come back here and do some maintenance. Sure enough, my list of web comics in the Links section needed to be updated. I also now know the title of Star Wars Episode II.

Oh, and HAPPY BIRTHDAY MORGAN!!! ;-)

Still to come:

  • create the Star Wars RPG page
  • create the About me
  • create some NEW pages ;-)

RETURN OF THE THEME SONGS! Back in the hayday of this web page, I had some theme songs to play in the background. But in those days, I could never decide on one particular song. So I asked for people's input on what the song should be, if any. Eventually, I just didn't have any songs.

Well, now I figured out how to make it work. Choose what you want... WHEN you want it. Easy, huh? As always, ENJOY!

Still to come:

  • create the About me

Well, after yesterdays' mass update, I happened upon another hilarious Web Comic: Bob and George. The title is deceiving... as it is actually a Mega Man parody. At any rate, it was worthy of adding to my links page. I just didn't feel like adding last night after all the updating I had already done. Enjoy!

WOW! Over a full year since my last recorded update! The last time I made changes to this site, I was still attending the Colorado School of Mines. I have since graduated (actually exactly one year ago), and I am now working as a software engineer for Lockheed Martin (Woo Hoo!).

So, I finally caved in and decided to implement frames into my site. Use them if you so choose. Also, I've made a special place for links, created a Star Wars Art page, and made some much needed updates.

Still to come:

Alright! I should pretty much be finishing up my Star Wars main page today. It's only noon right now (got class in an hour) but I've only got a couple more sub-sections to clean up. If I can't get to them after class, then some other day.

Still to come:

  • update the Web resources page (WARNING!! DEAD LINKS EXIST!!)
  • create the Star Wars RPG page
  • create the About me

I'm really rolling now. Began work on the Star Wars page today. A lot has changed in the world of Star Wars over the past year. The first of the prequels, Episode I: The Phantom Menace, has come and gone to video. The role playing license has changed companies. A few more books and video games have been released. And of course, some web links have died off while others have been born.

Today I've managed to get the first few sub-sections updated, but there is still more to do. And of course, I have yet to actually build my Star Wars RPG page. But I've got great plans... =)

YAHOO! And OUCH! The first update in over a full year! Well, not including minor little tweaks that I didn't want to take the time to discuss. I'm surprised my account with GeoCities (now owned by Yahoo!) hasn't been removed due to dormancy.

Nonetheless, I could tell that my web pages were showing their age... especially the Star Wars page. I've finally been motivated enough (and free enough) to finally get this baby up to date. A lot has happened in over a year, and the World Wide Web has changed a bit (big surprise!). Therefore, I need to get my links and info up to date. Over the next few days I hope to get everything straightened out. Today I've started with this page.

So what's changed? Well, like I said... GeoCities has been bought by Yahoo! The result is that I now have a shorter (easier to remember) URL. So make note that:
http://www.geocities.com/Area51/Vault/5355/... is now replaced by http://www.geocities.com/esjs.geo/...
Fortunately (as you may have noticed), the old URL still works to prevent creating dead links. CLICK HERE if you want to use the shorter URL.

Dead Links Removed
Due to the switchover and/or other reasons, I've removed links (on this page only) to the following:

  • GeoCities Area 51 neighborhood (moved and not needed anymore)
  • My Survey/Guestbook page (CGI program dead)
  • Vikram's MidiFest (Site is dead)

For the past school semester, I have applied many minor tweeks to my homepage without posting an update here. Well today that all changed! With finals over... I've had some time to make many major updates. Part of this was also prompted by GeoCites changing its watermark program. If you have one of the latest Java enabled browsers, you should be seeing the watermark in the lower right corner of your browser window. It either says "GeoCities" or has changed to GeoCities' "g" logo. Clicking on this watermark will produce a pop-up with links related to my site. Though the watermark is mostly transparent, I have created a margin for the watermark to reside in...

The second major change to ESJS ON THE INTERNET is the new Update Archives, a place where I will add a copy of the contents of this box each time it is changed. Now you'll always know what has happened to this site.

New Link! A complete stranger (or two) has linked to my site, so I'm returning the favor! Check out the bottom of the SCI-FI & HORROR section in Xendar & Fumaju's Web Guide! =)

The Star Wars page has been updated again. I imagine that I will have to been updating that a lot now that the new PREQUELS are about to be released. There is going to be a lot of news.

...plus a whole bunch of updated minor details throughout the site.

Well, back to school time again. But the good news is that I'm back online! So... now I can work on my site again. Expect many updates coming up...

Today I finished up a MUCH needed update of my Star Wars page. I also violently shortened my descriptions for the links below.

UP NEXT ON ESJS'S BACK-TO-SCHOOL PROJECT: "About Me" (finally), followed by "Star Wars RPG" (also finally).
