The Conlang Flag

Main Page

Updated 3 July 2009

NOTE: GEOCITIES has announced that it will be closing its webspace later this summer, so I've moved here. Please visit me at my new site!

conlang: 1. (noun) a constructed language. 2. (verb) to create, use, or discuss a conlang
conlanger: (noun) anyone who conlangs

I compiled these pages for the same reasons I created Thosk and other conlangs.

Would you like to know more about Conlangs? Visit my Conlang FAQ (under intermittent revision), followed by links to selected online resources for conlangers, including other FAQs.

For examples of conlangs, visit Thosk, one of my conlangs, derived -- like Dingwa -- from Proto-Indo-European. For a brief outline of a very definitely non-European conlang, see Ukwe. Or for a less serious and only briefly sketched conlang, see Ungil.

Finally, visit Jeffrey Henning's excellent Langmaker site, which has links to well over a thousand conlangs on the web, plus many other resources.

Feedback welcome! Would you like to know more about anything on this page? Have a comment or question? Send me email, or post comments or questions on the convenient feedback form.
