A somewhat disappointing pool simulation, "Real Pool" fails to come across as an "all that real" pool simulation, especially with the graphics that fall short for the power of the PS2.
A nicely unique feature of the game is the puzzle mode that pits your pool skills against dozens of oddly shaped tables, however, these tables are unavailable for a two-player game that would have been a nice treat.
Beyond these reservations about the game and the fact it is difficult to see the numbers on the balls (this makes it quite difficult for an unpracticed pool player when trying to plan for the next shot), the pool game physically plays well and makes for a great digital alternative to having your own piece felt-topped slate in the house.
