A wonderful example of what the PS2 can bring to the digital ice arena, "NHL 2001" is one excellent addition to any PS2 collection. With stunning graphics clearly above par, as they were even used for the game's intro animation versus actual footage, it only gets better with a terrific mix of excellent control, and gameplay along with some great camera angles and animated inserts that put you right in the middle of the action.

If hockey on the PS2 is what you're after, this is the clear choice for the 2001 season.
