The Mummy Returns Distributed by: Universal
A game with plenty of potential for being a hit, "The Mummy Returns," based on the movie of the same name, delivers some decent graphics, but plagued by some awkward control and animation, the game finds itself falling short of the norm.
For those who enjoyed the movie, the option of playing as Rick O'Connell the adventurer or as Imhotep the mummy is a nice feature, however, following the movie so closely makes for several annoying text screens that fill us in on the story, something that pleasantly could have been replaced with more animated sequences or footage straight from the movie.
A game I really wanted to enjoy and looked forward to playing, overall became a somewhat disappointing gaming experience.
