Tired of spending more time untangling cables than you do on actual gameplay??? Well the "Freedom Shock 2" from Pelican Accessories might just be the solution you're looking for.
With the same great feel, shape, weight and control of the Retro Shock 2, the Freedom Shock 2 simply does away with the traditional cabling, and with up to 30 feet of freedom, that certainly adds up to a lot of extension cables. In addition, the controller utilizes RF technology similar to that of cordless phones, so unlike wireless standard remotes, corners and obstacles pose no problem, giving you even more gameplay freedom.
The only minor problems I found were the vibration motors tended to increase the battery drain (which is to be expected ), and on the rare occurrence, the controller would stick and become unresponsive, whether this was due to interference or other circumstances, it was still a minor inconvenience. Beyond this the controller worked amazingly well... now only if the price of batteries would come down.
