[[Series/ Manga Information]]
All information given below is to the best of the site manager's knowledge.  If I--er, HE, fucks somethings up, just e-mail me.  Solid sources for this information are few and far between on the web.
[[Series Title]]  Weiss Kreuz, White Cross, Knight Hunters
[[Creator]] Takehito Koyasu, Marine Entertainment
[[Launched]] Premiered on Japanese television in 1998
The series was based (rather loosely, in my opinion) on a manga.  There are a lot of really obvious differences (hair/ eye color in various characters, etc.), and I believe the location is different, as well.  In the manga, Schwarz is based in Germany, but in the series they're very much in Tokyo.  Oh, well...
[[Manga Title]] An Assassin and White Shaman
This manga came in two parts, from what I've found.  It also starts somewhat before the beginning of the series.
There are, quite literally, dozens of drama CDs that I know of that accompany this series and manga.  Schwarz has at least two CDs, and they made me cry.  :(  Farf, what the fuck were you ThInKiNg??
[[Series Title]] Weiss Kreuz Gluhen
[[Creator]] Marine Entertainment
[[Launched]] Premiered on Japanese television in October of 2002, after a substantial delay
Ah, can we say 'drama', anyone?  Apparently Marine decided to create a sequel to WK with WK: Gluhen, and the creator of the original manga wasn't consulted.  By the time that Marine had finished with Gluhen, there was a law suit in progress.  The manga's creator won, and Project Weiss got to go back, trash their production sketches, and change the way all of the characters looked.  Hence, the futuristic, blocky, and retro-lookin' versions of everyone's favorite angsty florists.  And can I just comment that Schwarz looks possibly worse than they do in the Verbrachen-Strafe series??  Jesus...  Anyway, Gluhen's only got thirteen episodes, and they star a whole slew of new characters, including a group of people known as the Crashers, who are codenamed after chess pieces.  Wierd, ne?  I believe that these new guys make their debut in WK Gluhen: Fight Fire With Fire, a drama album that comes directly before the Gluhen TV series.  All thirteen episodes have been aired in Japan.
[[Manga Title]] Weiss Side B
[[Creator]] Marine Entertainment, I believe
Okay, I'm really not familiar with this series.  I just heard about it a few days ago.  Apparently it starts after Gluhen's final episode, and there are only two returning characters from Verbrachen-Strafe: Ken and Aya, I believe.  There's a whole slew of new guys, and I think Kritiker's still around.  (Will those people EVER die??)
