Episiode Description:
The episode begins outside Viltheed where Urpgor is talking to Blob about his new ship that will transport the whole Urpney army to the Land of Dreams. Blob asks Urpgor if transporting the whole army in the vehicle is wise as he says it would never get off the ground due to it's size. Blob is soon swayed though when Urpgor says he will appear on a screen inside the ship to give orders to the army. Blob then finds Frizz and Nug and tells them to fetch every single Urpney from inside Viltheed. Meanwhile Urpgor is talking to Zordrak on a screen inside the ship. He tells Zordrak that the ship is ready for a demonstration. Zordrak reminds Urpgor that if the plan fails he has lost his entire army, so he tells Urpgor that it's in his interest to make sure he doesn't fail. Frizz and Nug have gathered the whole Urpney army outside the ship and Blob tells them to start sending the army onto the ship, counting them as they board, however the counting soon gets mixed up.
When they finally try to take off the ship only gets so high and then hits the ground again. After a few adjustments to the vehicle in the form of a propeller, then wings the vehicle still doesn't leave the ground properly. Zordrak appears on the view screen asking if they have left yet and Urpgor tells him that the vehicle needs more power. Zordrak is angry and tells Urpgor to find a source of power, Urpgor goes off to think of a way of getting the extra power needed.
Meanwhile, over in the Land of Dreams, it's market day and Rufus and Amberley are taking Spildit around the market. They stop at an hoop-la stall, where Spildit wins a statue in the shape of a duck. The Noops and Spildit arrive back at the Dreammakers house, where they find the Dreammaker and Mr Blossom in the Dreammakers garden ispecting a new flower grown by Mr Blossom. However Spildit runs around boasting about winning her statue prize that she trips and drops it. The statue breaks when it hits the floor, making Spildit extremely upset.
Back at Viltheed, Urpgor is in his basement looking through his old documents for details of any power sources that might work to power the ship. He soon finds a map that leads to a mineral that will increases a fuels power ten times. Urpgor gives Blob a divining rod that should lead him directly to the mineral, however Urpgor says that the mineral is found on the edge of the Darkside.
Back in the Land of Dreams, Rufus and Amberley are trying to cheer up Spildit who is still sad about her statue breaking. Mr Blossom says that Spildit could do with a tickle under the chin with a feather from the Jolly Bird that lives up in the mountains. The Dreammaker is not sure if the Jolly Bird really exists, so decides to consult his books. He finds the Jolly Bird in one of his books that backs up Mr Blossoms comments, so Rufus and Amberley along with Spildit decide to go and search for the Jolly Bird. The Urpney's have arrived on the Darkside and Blob notices what he thinks are caves. However it turns out to be the nostrils of a giant sleeping!
Rufus, Amberley and Spildit arrive near the mountains and spot a cave so they decide to wait at the top of some trees near the cave to see if anything appears from inside the cave. They fall asleep, but are awoken when they hear the Jolly Bird. The Jolly Bird disapears inside the cave, so Rufus, Amberley and Spildit follow it. Meanwhile on the opposite side of the cave, the Urpney's are also about to enter the same cave as Rufus, Amberley and Spildit. Rufus, Amberley and Spildit have caught up to the Jolly Bird and find her building her nest, so they cautiously decide to hind behind some rocks.
The Urpney's also arrive at the Jolly Bird's nest, which is resting on top of the mineral that the Urpney's are looking for. Blob tells the Jolly Bird to get off the nest, but she tells them to push off as she isn't leaving in it. The Urpney's decide to distract the Jolly Bird so Frizz taunts the Jolly Bird and it chases him off, while Blob and Nug go to nest and chop a piece of mineral off. Just before they chop the mineral, Nug throws an egg out of the nest which Rufus manages to catch. The Jolly Bird arrives back carrying Frizz in her beak, but drops him when she notices her egg is missing. The three Urpney's run off, with the Jolly Bird in pursuit of them. Rufus and Amberley come out from behind the rock with the egg and it hatches in front of them. Rufus goes after the Jolly Bird to tell her that her egg is safe and it has hatched. Rufus soon arrives back with the Jolly Bird and she thanks them for saving her baby. Spildit also cheers up when the baby Jolly bird thanks her for saving her.
Meanwhile, the Urpney's had arrived back at Viltheed with the mineral and Urpgor is about to launch the ship. Frizz notices something written on the map they had and tries to tell Urpgor, but Urpgor tells him to shut up. The ship takes off effortlessly, so it seems the mineral has worked. Frizz is still trying to tell Urpgor what he has found written on the map with Urpgor uninterested in listening. He finally manages to tell Urpgor that although the mineral increases the power of any fuel, it doesn't last any longer than about 10 seconds! The ship is soon headed back down to the ground and crashes.
