In the Land of Dreams, the Dreammaker is inspecting his garden and finds that his Daisy Apple tree has died. Mr Blossom tells the Dreammaker that there isn't any Daisy Apple trees around. He reminds him that they got the one they had from Planet Prunus, which is where they would have to go to get another one. Rufus and Amberley offer to go to Planet Prunus to get a new tree for the Dreammaker. The Dreammaker explains that Planet Prunus is looked after by a person named Amerillis and asks them to get a box of chocolates to give Amerillis as a gift.

Back at Viltheed, Urpgor has taken so long with his preparations to launch his new vehicle that by the time the Urpney's arrive over the Wut forest it's near dawn. The Uprney's decide that they can't fly the ship to the Land of Dreams now due to being seen, so they decide to rest for a while in the forest. They are suddenly awoken by Spildit, who is picking mushrooms. She tells the Urpney's that she was meant to visit Rufus and Amberley. Spildit then tells Blob that Rufus and Amberley are going on a secret mission involving something very important that belongs to the Dreammaker. The Uprney's then mistakenly assume Spildit is talking about the Dreamstone. In the Land of Dreams, Rufus and Amberley are getting ready to leave for Planet Prunus. The Dreammaker gives them a necklace each that they must wear to indicate thet they come in peace. He explains that anyone arriving on Planet Prunus without one will be treated as an enemy.

Blob, Frizz and Nug go back to Viltheed and tell Urpgor what they had heard. They tell Urpgor that the Dreamstone has been taken to Planet Prune, but after looking on his charts, Urpgor realises that they mean Planet Prunus. The Urpney's are sent to Planet Prunus to get the Dreamstone, which they wrongly assume is being taken there. Rufus and Amberley land on Planet Prunus where the plants start to attack them until they remember to put their necklaces on that the Dreammaker gave them. They then go off in search of Amerillis.

Meanwhile Spildit tells Wildit that she had spoken to the Urpney's about Rufus and Amberley going to Planet Prunus. Wildit contacts the Dreammaker and offers to go to Planet Prunus herself to make sure everything is ok, just incase the Urpney's had decided to go to create trouble. Blob, Frizz and Nug arrive on Planet Prunus and Amerillis is told by her plants of their arrival and the fact that they have no necklaces.

The three Urpney's wander down a path where the plants trip them and play tricks on them along the way. Amerillis hears from her plants that the Urpney's said they are looking for the Dreamstone and think Rufus and Amberley have the Dreamstone with them. To get rid of the Urpney's, Rufus and Amberley pretend the Dreamstone is in the box that contained the chocolates, letting the Urpney's steal it. The three Urpney's then leave in their rocket. The blast knocks Rufus and Amberley's transport bubble, but Wildit and Spildit arrive in another bubble.

The Urpney's arrive back at Viltheed with the box they think contains the Dreamstone. When they open the box a plant grows out of it surrounding Zordrak, who cannot stand the sight of it. The plant grows covering the whole throne room!
