Personal Comments - Shades of Grey won an award on fanfics.org for best videogame-based fanfic. It is considered by my friends to be the "Grandaddy" of all of my fics because of its surprisingly high popularity on fanfiction.net. When I first looked for Meta-Knight based fanfiction, my findings came up short. So I decided to test myself and see if I could do a serious, MK-based fanfic while keeping everyone in character. A few months of brainstorming passed and the fic was almost doomed to never begin. Then one day, I watched "Hour of the Wolfwrath." I was so intrigued by the episode that it completely renewed my interest in the fic and I decided to write it. Never had I expected the fic to become popular, mostly because I didn't know that there were many fans of the anime.

Depicts the rise and fall of one of the greatest knights the universe has ever known, told through the eyes of a soldier.
Personal Comment - I had spent a lot of time trying to make sure that this fic could coincide with the storyline of the videogames, but this was moderately difficult because I hadn't actually played all of the games. Even if I did, I think it wouldn't have helped much, as there isn't much dialog to the games. I would like to give thanks to IvynaJSpyder, for she had explained the plot of the games as confirmed by HAL. Using her explanations as well as an overview of the games I had played, I was able to put together this story. However, I would like to offer an early warning. I have receieved a few complaints in regards to the religious undertones of the fic. So if you are easily offended you may want to steer clear of this one.

Meta-Knight remniscences about the one person that he loves yet could never have.
Personal Comment - Since I've never written a real romance fic, I wanted to try it. Unfortunately, although Meta-Knight obviously likes her, it is impossible to hook them up decently. I was inspired by the transformer fic "Silence Scream" where Optimus Prime longs for a girl he could never have (although I think he's better off without her. Humans and Transformers are just not meant to be.) and applied that kind of idea in this fic.

Takes place within "Legacy of Meta-Knight"s continuity. Upon committing a heinous act, Meta-Knight is forced to reflect on his life, destiny and the monster he has become.
Personal Comment - This fic was inspired by Evanescence's "Tourniquet" (but it is -not- a songfic), as well as IvynaJSpyder's fanfic challenge. It was not completed in time to compete in the competition, and I almost didn't finish it at all. Finally, a month or so after it was started, I decided to complete it.
