Large Item Shopping (freight line delivery)

1. Sewing Stands, Cutting Tables, Cabinets and Industrial Sewing Machines are shipped via truch line, and not UPS or Fed-Ex. Someone needs to be at home to receive and sign for the product/s when delivery takes place. Most truck lines will call you to arrange date for delivery.

2. Provide as many phone numbers as possible to ensure that the shipping company can contact you and let you know what time and date your product/s will be delivered.

3. The delivery driver is not responsible for bringing the product inside your home, up or down any stairs or into any particular room. Their responsiblity is to deliver the product/s to the delivery address and unload the product/s from their trailer. The driver's responsibility does vary from state to state. It is always a good idea to have someone there to help you unload your product/s.

4. Always inspect your shipment BEFORE signing for it. It is best to completely remove your shipment from its containers regardless of the condition of the box. Inspect it thoroughly, assemble the product (if possible), and if it is damaged make a note of the damage on the delivery receipt or repackage and decline delivery. When you sign the delivery receipt, it is a legal contract that states that you accepted the product in the condition that it was delivered. If opening or assembling is not possible at the time delivery is received, it is best to indicate "possible concealed damage" regardless of the condition of the box/es. This is important because once you have signed for your shipment it is your responsibility if it is damaged.

5. Save your box/es and all packaging materials until you are fully satisified that your product/s and all accessories are satisfactory. A good practice is to compact the box/es and put them in your garage, attic or storage room. Attempting a return to the manufacturer for repair/replacement is nearly impossible without the proper box/es.

6. Inserts for home sewing cabinets are usually shipped out via UPS or Fed-Ex, and customarily do not arrive at the same time as your cabinet product/s. Delivery on home machinery inserts can take up to a few additional weeks to provide for the time it takes to create your insert to fit your machine/s.

7. Replacement of damaged product/s will occur when funds are received from the shipping company after the claim/s have been filed properly. Normal claim time is 4 to 6 weeks from the date claim/s were made.

Pricing & Matching Prices

We go out to give you the very best possible prices on everything that we retail. If you find an Identical item that is in stock at another store with a lower price, we'll do our best to match pricing. Price matches are valid only once BEFORE you place your order/s. We can not change prices after the order is placed. When compairing prices with others, the final prices including shipping, taxes and any other fees are taken into consideration.

HOME

We use Fed-Ex or United Postal Service (UPS) for almost all orders. The Shipping charges will be shown on
your order/s before you finalize your order for most items for orders within the Continental US. If you are shipping items to Alaska or Hawaii, we'll contact you with the shipping charges.

For most household sewing, serger, embroidery, knitting machines, shipping is approximately $15 - $25 for Fed-Ex or UPS Ground (4 - 7 business days). All accessiories less than 21 lbs. are approximately $6.95 for ground shipping. All heavy merchandise such as industrial machines, stands, household cabinets, etc., are shipped by freight truck line (Roadway or Saia) and vary in cost from $80 and up. Roadway and Saia freight lines charge a $50 fee to ship to a residential address. Stands and household cabinets take about 3 weeks to get to your door step.

Overnight or 3 day mail shipping can be arranged if we have the item in stock. All or any additional cost to ship merchandise quicker, would be the responsibility of the customer.

Some items are shipped to your store or home directly from the manufacturer such as (Koala Cabinets). These items may have their own rates for shipping and may slightly take longer to get to you.
