The image utilises various elements gathered from past works such as the rose, a symbol of nature as well as change and temporality as well as fragility. "My works strive to transcend the specifics of place. There is a constant interrelation between contrast and opposites both materially or visually as well as conceptually. What that means is that contrasts of hard and soft, warm and cold, intentional and uncalculated, abstract and figurative, all interwine to express the concept of opposites. Spirituality is expressed through the use of symbols."
