Laurya sat in the sitter's quarters, sipping tea. Looking up at Zarlash, she spoke.

"I suppose that my key issue with Dallah is the whole issue of this... this..." Her lips twisted with distaste.

Zarlash completed the sentence for her. "Black Tower Embassy?"

Laurya nodded. "Yes. Yes, that. Dallah, as head, could have done much to slow or even stop that. It's a travesty! What are the Ajah's thinking? I know that Greens love men, but they have historically supported us. And all the others..." She shivered. "We all grew up knowing the menace of male channellers. Why now is it accepted? And by a Red! And what under the Light did she mean that this would be the last time we dealt with those vermin this way?"

Ignoring her cup of jasmine tea, her eyes growing as cold as the sitting tea. Zarlash looked down at Laurya,

"You worry too much, child... Here, let me pour you another glass.", taking the pitcher of jasmine tea, Zarlash poured it into Laurya's empty cup. "Dallah's rein over us will not last much longer. I'm afraid her wick burns most lowly as far as her power is concerned. She has no idea what she is doing. I'm sure Kathana will see that after the Black Tower embassy goes to ruins."

Zarlash laughed, wiping a stray tear from her eye. She didn't choose to acknowledge Laurya's questioning gaze, continuing with her already set plan,

"Someone is with the Embassy as we speak. I am certain that we will have no difficulty proving to the Amyrlin that Dallah's leading is nothing more than the mindless wanderings of a foolish young woman."

Besides that, I have enough on the woman to have her stilled and sent to the farms for more years than she can count with every bone in her body, if there's anything left.

Laurya leaned back in her chair, pursing her lips. "I have set my eyes and ears to digging up any and all information regarding Dallah fom that whole Angreal fiasco, when we lost Javaran to the Shadow. Something went on, and I'm closing in on it. I am trying to get a worm into this... this Black Tower... and I think I'll have some information soon."

Settling back, Laurya sighed, brooding.
